Production Assistant 2nd Shift

Job Overview

We are seeking 2 individuals to be a firsthand assistant for our machine operator on 2nd shift. This company is a spin off of our parent company that has been in the paper and plastic recycling business for over 20 years.

Responsibilities

Feed the machine with plastic for reprocessing
Load and unload inbound/outbound semi trailers with either material to process or finished goods
Ensure that finished goods are packaged neatly, labeled properly, and are ready to ship to customers
Maintain a neat and clean workspace
Follow all safety procedures that have been established
Help perform general maintenance and housekeeping
Help machine operator with repairs and retooling

Requirements

Ability to stand for long periods of time
Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or similar role is preferred
High School diploma or better
Reliable transportation to and from work
