Job Overview
We are seeking 2 individuals to be a firsthand assistant for our machine operator on 2nd shift. This company is a spin off of our parent company that has been in the paper and plastic recycling business for over 20 years.
Responsibilities
- Feed the machine with plastic for reprocessing
- Load and unload inbound/outbound semi trailers with either material to process or finished goods
- Ensure that finished goods are packaged neatly, labeled properly, and are ready to ship to customers
- Maintain a neat and clean workspace
- Follow all safety procedures that have been established
- Help perform general maintenance and housekeeping
- Help machine operator with repairs and retooling
Requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting or similar role is preferred
- High School diploma or better
- Reliable transportation to and from work
