Job Details Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Nursing Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Stone Oak, San Antonio, Texas Assignment Length: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Start Date: 8/7/2026 End Date: 11/6/2026 Weekend Requirement: Rotating schedule, including every other weekend Floating: As needed based on unit needs Documentation System: Meditech preferred experience Job Requirements Active Texas RN license required; temporary licenses are not accepted Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a critical care setting Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required NIH Stroke Scale certification or equivalent NIH competency required Experience managing vasopressors in an ICU or intensive care environment Strong attendance, reliability, and professionalism required Ability to float as needed to support unit coverage Meditech experience preferred Responsibilities Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition Administer medications and titratable therapies, including vasopressors, per protocol Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes in the electronic health record Support safe patient transfers and float to related units when assigned Follow infection prevention standards, hospital policies, and professional nursing practice guidelines Contribute to a respectful, team-oriented environment focused on high-quality patient care Why Apply for This ICU Travel RN Job?
