Amazon is expanding its data center operations in Berwick, Pennsylvania and is seeking entry-level Data Center Installation Technicians to support the deployment of new server infrastructure. This role is ideal for candidates looking to break into the IT or data center industry and gain hands-on experience working in a large-scale technical environment. Successful candidates will assist with cable installation, labeling, organization, and preparation of server racks to ensure infrastructure can be deployed efficiently and meet operational service-level agreements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in low-voltage cabling, telecom, data centers, construction, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics.

Ability to safely lift and move up to 35 lbs repeatedly.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods.

Ability to read and follow work instructions, diagrams, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Comfortable working in varying temperatures and wearing required PPE.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Basic computer skills for documentation, ticketing, and inventory systems.

Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet operational deadlines.

Ability to push, pull, and maneuver server racks, carts, and equipment safely as part of a team.

Experience Level

Entry Level

Candidates should have one or more of the following:

• Experience pulling cable, installing low-voltage cabling, fiber, or copper cable.
• Construction, electrical, telecommunications, or structured cabling experience.
• Military technical experience.
• Vocational/technical school training related to IT, networking, electrical systems, or data centers.
• Trade school, apprenticeship, bootcamp, or community college coursework in data center technology or IT infrastructure.
• Schooling with hands-on technical projects, internships, co-ops, or relevant lab experience.
• Home Lab experience they can describe in detail

This is a Contract position based out of Berwick, PA.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
