We are currently looking to fill all positions for our coming soon, Naperville location. Training will occur at our Crest Hill location prior to starting. 

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly pay, eligible for overtime at 1.5x for pre-approved hours over 40 per week.
• Monthly performance bonus based on gross profit — advisors who drive sales and shop profitability share in the results.

What You'll Do:

• Greet customers warmly and professionally — in person, by phone, text, and email.
• Guide customers through their vehicle's condition and the repair decision-making process with honesty and transparency.
• Build accurate repair estimates by researching parts pricing and labor times.
• Ensure technicians complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVI) fully on every vehicle, dispatch work, and manage daily workflow to keep the shop running efficiently.
• Set appointments and make proactive follow-up calls on recommended and deferred repairs (through Auto Ops or an equivalent system).
• Process customer payments accurately, pay vendor bills, and reconcile vendor statements.
• Manage shop supplies and parts inventory, track incoming and outgoing parts, and handle returns.
• Keep customer-facing areas clean, organized, and professional, and maintain accurate records in the shop management system.
• Open and close the shop following established procedures.
• Contribute to a positive, team-first environment that reflects Zabor Automotive's values.

What We're Looking For:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers, phones, and general office technology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stay on your feet throughout the day in a shop environment.
• 1+ years in a customer-facing automotive service role (preferred).
• Familiarity with shop management software such as Tekmetric, ShopWare, or Mitchell (preferred).
• Basic understanding of automotive systems and repair terminology, and experience building estimates or managing workflow (preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional automotive training a plus.
