This is a 109-bed, general acute care community hospital that recently earned an 'A' for safety from Leapfrog, serving as a regional health care resource for approximately 100,000 residents of Litchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. Opportunity:
Physician - Medical Subspecialties - Medical Oncology

Job Details:

• Provide comprehensive medical oncology services within a multi-disciplinary cancer care delivery model
• Participate in clinical trials as a principal investigator, including access to MSK clinical trials and phase 1 studies
• Collaborate with Disease Management Teams (DMT) bringing together medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists with pathology, nursing, pharmacy, and allied health cancer professionals
• Engage in active collaboration with MSK faculty through GI DMT, cancer conferences, and research activities
• Contribute to quality metrics, clinical research, and innovation through implementation science
• Practice within a progressive, physician-led environment alongside nationally respected colleagues
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology required
• Must be licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut
