Construction Project Manager Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong leadership, financial oversight, and technical expertise to successfully manage projects up to $15M. Key Responsibilities + Manage all phases of projects, including pre-construction planning, scheduling, and execution + Develop, review, and approve project budgets (labor, materials, subcontractors) + Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and vendor relationships + Oversee project financials to ensure profitability and positive cash flow + Lead project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders + Prepare and maintain monthly cost reports and accurate financial projections + Evaluate construction methods, timelines, and resource allocation + Approve subcontractor and supplier invoices + Ensure compliance with safety standards and enforce job site policies + Maintain strong client relationships and identify future opportunities + Coordinate CAD, fabrication, and field resources Qualifications + Bachelors degree (Construction Management or related field preferred), or 10+ years of relevant experience + Minimum 5 years managing construction projects up to $15M + Experience in Mechanical Construction, MEP, Commercial, Mission Critical, or Data Center projects + Strong understanding of project lifecycle, including estimating, RFIs, change orders, and project engineering + Ability to perform project risk analysis (e.g., SWOT) Required Skills & Experience + Strong knowledge of construction processes and project management principles + Proven leadership and organizational skills in fast-paced environments + Experience with scheduling, logistics, and procurement + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills + Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Office Suite + Familiarity with AutoBid, Primavera P6, and Bluebeam (preferred) Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $65.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
