Senior Construction Inspector

Perform technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout Make and check engineering computations Inspect construction work Conduct field tests Assist with geotechnical field exploration activities Be directly responsible for inspection requirements related to assigned construction operations Work under the general supervision of the Project Administrator Assist the Senior Inspector in the performance of their duties Requirements Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing) High School Diploma Minimum of 10 years of construction inspection experience TDOT Experience preferred Site Manager or AASHTOWare experience preferred Possess the following certifications or the ability to obtain within six (6) months from the date of hire: TDEC Level 1 EPSC; TDOT HMA Certified Roadway Inspector; TDOT Asphalt Plant Technician; TDOT Concrete Field Technician or ACI Grade 1 Concrete Technician; TDOT Radiation Safety and Nuclear Gauge; TDOT Soils and Aggregates; Work Zone Traffic Control/Flagging; TDOT Intermediate MOT; 10 Hour OSHA Safety Training Core Competencies Demonstrates extensive experience in construction inspection, including technical assignments in field surveying and construction layout, while ensuring compliance with inspection requirements. Proficient in engineering computations and field testing, with strong communication skills in English.
