Title: Environmental Service Specialists State Role Title: Hsekeep &/or Apparel Worker I Hiring Range: $34,322- Commensurate with Experience Pay Band: 1 Agency: Dept Behavioral Health/Develop Location: Piedmont Geriatric Hospital Agency Website: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties Maintain hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition, to provide a suitable environment for the care of patients and for the works of the hospital staff and employees. Knowledge of principles and practice of infection control. Experience with Joint Commission, OSHA, and CDC Standards. Experience in interpreting and applying clinical policies and procedures. Experience collecting, aggregating, and analyzing data from multiple internal and external sources. Knowledge of nursing principles, including psychiatric and/or geriatric nursing. Experience working in a Joint Commission Accredited and/or CMS certified healthcare facility. Experience working with a diverse group of staff and patients. Core competency in PC-based applications such as database, spreadsheet, word processing and presentation graphics. Must possess a working knowledge of local, federal, and state laws and regulations and standards related infection control. Minimum Qualifications Housekeeping experience. Additional Considerations Knowledge of principles and practice of infection control. Experience in a hospital setting.
