Position Overview Supervisor I – Fiscal Operations, Division of Land Resource Protection. Responsible for overseeing the fiscal functions of the Division, directing, organizing, and supervising fiscal staff. Responsibilities Oversee fiscal functions of the Division. Direct, organize and supervise the Division’s fiscal staff. Manage appropriations, budgets, expenditures, encumbrances and other financial obligations. Lead and manage financial professionals or complex financial projects/processes. Work with financial databases and FI$Cal. Utilize Excel for financial analysis. Minimum Qualifications New to California state service: must have taken and passed the examination for this classification. Current state employee without transfer eligibility or list eligibility: must have taken and passed the examination for this classification. Knowledge and experience managing appropriations, budgets, expenditures, encumbrances and other financial obligations. Experience managing a team of financial professionals or leading a complex financial project or process. Experience working with financial databases and FI$Cal. Proficiency with Excel. Working Conditions Located in Sacramento, CA at 715 P Street, Sacramento, CA 95814. Eligible for a hybrid telework schedule with required in‑person work. Applicants must reside in California. Salary $7,172.00 – $8,910.00 per month (minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable). Benefits Health, dental and vision benefits.
