Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 4 months.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Telemetry experience required.

Required Credentials: Demonstrated competency in Dysrhythmia during Orientation for all depts.

Unit Details: No procedures done on the unit. Cares for inpatient hospice patients. Uses Pyxis.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. No call required. Every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts per each 6-week schedule period. For day shift, weekends are Saturday and Sunday.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles. May float to other med/surg or med/surg/tele units; orientation to that unit is required prior to floating.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW : This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
