We are seeking a high energy, self-motivated individual to join our team as an Accountant.

The position will be a Staff Accountant and will be responsible for preparations & accuracy of the financials for the organization. Passion, character and strong motivation are key characteristics to be a team member of our team.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of the monthly financials for Parkway LP and Holding Companies.
• Calculation of quarterly advisory fees.
• Prepare quarterly billing statements.
• Assist in preparation of the Budget and Business plans.
• Enter payments from clients in QuickBooks, prepare deposit slips, and take them to the bank.
• Reconciliation of Bank accounts.
• Compile the information that is needed for Parkway’s income tax return.
• Prepare Forms 1099-NEC for contract labor and board fees.
• Ability to work with and learn from all departments within Parkway. (Investments, Statutory Accounting, Consulting and SEC Compliance).

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1-5 years of accounting experience if preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with clients or sensitive information.
• Ability to be an effective leader; as well as to be a team player
• Ability to problem solve, follow through and be self-motivated to complete job responsibilities
• Adapt to change and the willingness to incorporate new ideas
• Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office and Strong Excel skills
• QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online
• Excellent communication skills
• Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
