Engineers have true end-to-end ownership from idea to production: scoping, implementation, testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvement based on real customer feedback, without layers of approvals slowing you down.The Role:Product Core builds the foundational product systems everything depends on: identifying prospects, scheduling and routing meetings, synchronizing data with calendars and go-to-market platforms, executing workflows, and supporting enterprise authentication. We also enable customers and partners to extend the product through public APIs, webhooks, and custom integrations. These capabilities power critical parts of the customer journey and have a meaningful impact on conversion, revenue, and customer trust.The team also builds the data, context, and execution capabilities behind our agentic product experiences, including meeting preparation, routing investigation, and product explainability.As an engineer on Product Core, you'll operate as a technical leader: leading complex initiatives from early design through production, shaping architecture, writing substantial production code, influencing technical direction, and helping other engineers do their best work.What You'll Do:Lead complex product initiatives from an ambiguous problem through technical design, implementation, launch, and ongoing ownershipBuild reliable meeting-booking, calendaring, routing, and workflow experiences that directly affect customer conversion and revenueBuild and evolve integrations with CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, collaboration, calendaring, and data-enrichment platformsBuild intuitive public APIs and reliable webhooks that let customers and partners extend the productDesign for the realities of third-party systems: API limits, OAuth credentials, inconsistent data, retries, synchronization, and partial failuresAdvance AI-assisted capabilities such as meeting preparation, routing investigation, and explanations of product behaviorImprove the scalability, observability, security, and supportability of critical production systems, and own difficult customer issues to their root causeRaise the engineering bar through technical leadership, design and code reviews, and mentorshipWho You Are:A track record of independently delivering complex SaaS capabilities from design through launch and ongoing operationStrong full-stack skills, with particular depth in backend systems, APIs, relational data models, and background processingExperience building or operating integrations with complex third-party platformsSound technical judgment around reliability, data integrity, security, and incremental system evolutionExcellent debugging skills across application, integration, and data boundariesDemonstrated technical leadership: you influence architecture and execution beyond your immediate workstreamComfortable operating in ambiguity and driving clarity: you can frame problems, propose solutions, and align othersProduct-minded: you care about UX and customer outcomes, not just implementationExperience with modern web frameworks (Rails/React/Postgres/AWS is a plus; adaptability matters most)Nice to Have:Experience with CRM, marketing automation, scheduling, routing, enrichment, or workflow productsFamiliarity with OAuth, webhooks, synchronization pipelines, rate-limited APIs, or eventual consistencyExperience with enterprise identity systems such as SSO, SAML, or SCIMExperience building production AI or LLM applications, agent tooling, or explainability featuresWhy Join Qualified:Own systems that move revenue: Meeting booking, routing, and workflows sit directly in the customer conversion path.
