Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year in Cath Lab License: Compact license required prior to start Certifications: BLS, ACLS, RCIS Must-Have: - Cath Lab experience - Availability for 8-12 days of call per month - Ability to take call for STEMI or Vascular Description: Registered Nurse position in the Cath Lab. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience. Call is required for 8-12 days per month. Every 4th weekend is required. Certifications in BLS and ACLS are mandatory. Experience with Cardioversion, Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations, and Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations is needed. Candidates should be familiar with procedural sedation administration/monitoring, as well as right and left heart catheterization. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily census ranges from 20-30. Interdisciplinary support includes Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services. Travelers should be prepared to float to like units as needed.
