Senior Director, Field Effectiveness & Operations

Partner with Commercial Leadership to define field strategy, customer-facing priorities, execution plans, and performance measures Serve as a strategic thought partner on field effectiveness, customer engagement, sales force effectiveness, and commercial execution Perform data modeling, performance analysis, scenario development, and insight generation Shape the vision, operating model, tools, processes, and capabilities for the Field Effectiveness & Operations organization Translate strategy and analytics into practical actions for field leadership and frontline leaders Lead field effectiveness strategy, sales force effectiveness, field operations, performance management, and customer-facing team capability initiatives Work with dashboards, analytical models, CRM outputs, segmentation, targeting, territory performance, field activity, and customer engagement data Develop insights, recommendations, and executive-ready narratives for Commercial Leadership Partner with field leaders and frontline managers to improve adoption, customer engagement, and performance Establish routines, scorecards, performance reviews, and feedback loops for continuous improvement Align Analytics, Brand Teams, CRM, Training, Customer Engagement, and Field Leadership Build, coach, and develop a high-performing team Requirements 10+ years of experience in field effectiveness, commercial operations, sales force effectiveness, commercial analytics, strategy, or related roles Ideally experience within biopharma, healthcare, or life sciences Strong ability to work directly with data, analytics tools, dashboards, and models Experience with CRM platforms, field reporting, customer engagement tools, and commercial performance systems Demonstrated success partnering with commercial leaders, field leadership, and frontline managers Ability to develop strategy while driving hands-on execution and organizational pull-through Ability to influence across functions and levels, build trust, and create alignment without relying only on authority Consulting experience is preferred Ability to shape vision, capabilities, processes, and operating model for a new organization Ability to use data to diagnose issues, identify opportunities, and guide decisions Understanding of commercial priorities and ability to build trusted relationships with leadership and the field Ability to drive adoption, continuous improvement, and measurable business impact Ability to bring teams together across functions Ability to communicate complex information and ideas clearly Ability to apply abstract principles to solve complex conceptual issues Ability to perform complex tasks under variable and changing conditions Ability to frequently drive to site locations and travel within the United States Ability to perform the stated physical activities, including sitting 6–8 hours per day and lifting up to 25 lbs.
