Responsibilities SandyPines Residential Treatment Center provides children and adolescents the opportunity to confront their personal issues, engage in a problem-solving process, test new behaviors and formulate a more constructive approach to life’s challenges. We are the largest secure residential treatment center for children and adolescents in Southeast Florida at 149-beds and have a fully accredited school on our campus. Our veteran nursing management team is a wonderful complement to our stable senior leadership that helps make Sandy Pines a wonderful fit for a long-term impact. We are currently seeking a Human Resources Director to join our team. This position is responsible for executing Human Resource activities at the facility for all functional areas, (e.g., recruitment, employee relations, compensation, compliance, etc.) and serves as a professional resource for facility management on all HR related activities. Our success comes from a responsive management Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources experience; previous healthcare experience preferred. Previous supervisory/management experience. HR Certification (through HRCI or SHRM) preferred. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and an understanding of Federal and State employment laws and regulations related to HR. Working knowledge of administering wage/salary programs, benefits, workers compensation, recruiting/retention plans, training/staff development, and employee relations. Requires leadership, organizational, supervisory and administrative abilities including excellent computer skills and knowledge of various software, internet-based HR systems and email.
