MEDICAL ASSISTANT CERTIFIED

Certified Medical AssistantNorth Alabama Bone and Joint is searching for a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant who can handle working in a fast-paced clinic environment with a positive attitude, great teamwork, and a strong desire for efficiency. This position will provide high-quality care to patients seen within the clinic under the direct supervision of a physician or physician assistant. (Experience to be considered in lieu of certification)· Prepares medicines according to physician request· Maintains competency in specific area of practice· Performs dressing changes and staple/suture removal· Cross-trained as a cast technician to provide casting and cast removal as needed· Records appropriate clinical notes and maintains patients' records· Schedule and pre-certify patient surgeries and procedures· Effectively communicate with patients· Other clinical support duties as requiredTeam Player : Works well as a member of a groupDetail Oriented : Capable of carrying out a given task with all details necessary to get the task done wellMedical AssistantEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
