SimplyTest - Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Specialist

Position Overview SimplyTest is looking for a strong AP/AR Specialist to support day-to-day accounting operations. This role will focus on managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining accurate financial records, and helping bring structure and consistency to our processes. We're looking for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership especially when it comes to AR collections and cleaning up AP processes. This role also has the potential to grow into a leadership position as the company continues to scale. Key Responsibilities Manage full-cycle accounts payable, including invoice processing, coding, and vendor payments Own accounts receivable, including invoicing, tracking, and collections with a focus on reducing aging and improving cash flow Follow up on outstanding balances and work with customers to resolve issues Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records Maintain and improve processes related to AP/AR workflows, and bring structure to disorganized processes Support month-end close activities as needed Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and expense tracking Assist with additional accounting and operational tasks as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred Solid bookkeeping experience with a strong understanding of AP/AR processes Highly experienced in QuickBooks Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment Comfortable owning collections and following through on outstanding items Ability to identify inefficiencies and improve processes Minimum of 5 years of experience What We're Looking For A strong performer who takes ownership and follows through Someone who can bring structure and help clean up existing processes Interest and potential to grow into a leadership role over time A team player who can work cross-functionally and communicate clearly Comfortable with a fast, high-growth environment Benefits Health insurance fully covered by the employer 401k with an up to 5% employer match Generous PTO policy #J-18808-Ljbffr HudsonAlpha
