Part-Time LVN/LPT Weekend NurseEvolve adolescent mental health treatment and teen rehab centers, accredited by CARF and The Joint Commission, offer the highest caliber of behavioral health care for adolescents 12 to 17 years old struggling with mental health issues or substance abuse. We are looking for a part-time LVN/LPT to join our team as a weekend nurse to work 2 weekends a month Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm-8:30pm. This is an opportunity to work as a member of a multidisciplinary team and gain experience working with teens with acute mental health and substance abuse issues. Many of our past nurses have found that this experience was helpful in pursuing an RN degree.Essential Functions:Provide first aid and nursing care as neededSupervise and ensure the safety of all clients in careEnsure needs and services for each client are being implementedEnsure all records are up to dateComplete and record daily vitals and weekly weightPrepare and administer medication daily; do medical inventory as neededHandle health emergencies appropriatelyThis is a part time, onsite position. Must be open to commuting to all our locations - La Mesa, Mt. Helix, and Encinitas.
