A day in the life. As an HR Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department. This position requires a proactive individual who can operate independently while also collaborating with team members to ensure the effective implementation of HR policies and procedures. Provide outstanding level of customer service to our colleagues and leaders, promoting and encouraging a positive work environment Provide administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records, processing payroll, and assisting with recruitment efforts. Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits. Assist in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs that align with the organization’s goals. Conduct new employee onboarding and orientation, ensuring a smooth transition into the company. Maintain compliance with labor laws and regulations, ensuring that HR practices are in line with legal requirements. Participate in employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture. Our future colleague. We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills: High school diploma required, Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred Minimum of 2 years of progressive HR experience, experience working in a fast paced, professional team environment preferred Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills Ability to build effective relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑SCP, SPHR) is a plus We know there are excellent candidates who might not check all of these boxes.
