Full-time openings on first and second shift, all including every other weekend. Up to a $5,000 sign-on bonus available!As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Berkshire Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center, you will provide direct nursing care to our residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by the nursing assistants to ensure the highest degree of quality care. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will work collaboratively with our healthcare team to meet the unique needs of each resident.Responsibilities:Meet the nursing and rehabilitation needs of each residentMaintain current resident care plans on all residents under your careFollow physician's orders and render complete nursing care, treatments, dressings, and other physician ordersTranscribe physician's orders promptly and accuratelyDocument comprehensive and complete nursing notesVisit each resident daily to evaluate resident needsMaintain accurate awareness of residents on alert listDocument and report any unusual or significant findings; contact the physician when necessaryAdminister medication according to procedureMaintain an accurate and safe control of all drugs for which you are responsibleInitiate any and all emergency procedures as necessaryDemonstrate correct safety techniques in accord with orientation and training processes of Athena and your specific job descriptionRequirements:Must possess, as a minimum, a nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing or collegeMust be CPR certifiedMust have a current and active RN license in the state, or be in the process of obtaining oneNew graduates welcome!Benefits:Weekly PayHoliday & Overtime PayCareer Advancement OpportunitiesExclusive Employer Discount Program401(k) with Employer MatchEmployer-Paid Life InsuranceVacation and Personal TimeHealth, Dental, and Vision InsuranceWe are an equal opportunity employer that values diversity at all levels.
