Recruitment Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Coordinator to support a high-volume recruiting environment onsite at our client, who is a DOD contractor. This role manages the recruiting process from approved requisitions through pre-employment processing and onboarding, partnering closely with hiring managers and the HR team to keep positions moving efficiently and ensure required steps and documentation are completed accurately and on time.

The ideal candidate is highly organized and detail-oriented, can manage multiple priorities, and handles confidential information with discretion. They work independently, follow through on multiple open requisitions, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the recruitment process from approved requisition through offer and pre-employment processing. This includes posting positions, reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, facilitating offer approvals, and tracking required hiring steps.

• Manage multiple open requisitions and candidates, prioritizing deadlines and keeping the recruiting process moving.
\n
• Partner with hiring managers to schedule interviews, communicate candidate status, and provide support throughout the hiring process.
\n
• Prepare offer letters and coordinate offer approvals and pre-employment documentation.
\n
• Coordinate pre-employment background investigations and drug screenings, providing required documentation for processing.
\n
• Maintain accurate applicant records, reports, and logs to support applicant-flow procedures and recruiting compliance.
\n
• Liaise with hiring managers and third-party staffing agencies to support the subcontractor employment cycle.
\n
• Respond to HR inbox inquiries and requests from employees, managers, and candidates.
\n
• Answer routine questions about standard HR and recruiting processes and procedures.
\n
• Assist with maintaining and updating job descriptions.
\n
• Support required government-contracting compliance reporting and documentation.
\n
• Conduct compensation and market survey analyses as needed.
\n
• Participate in weekly HR meetings and report on recruiting metrics and hiring activity.
\n
• Support ad hoc HR projects and department initiatives.
\n
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

\n
• At least 3 years of recruiting coordination, talent acquisition, or related HR experience.
\n
• Experience managing a high volume of requisitions and candidates in a fast-paced environment.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage recruiting from requisition approval through offer and pre-employment processing.
\n
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
\n
• Ability to handle confidential employee and candidate information with discretion and professionalism.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with hiring managers, candidates, staffing agencies, and HR colleagues.
\n
• Ability to work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and follow through to completion.
\n
• Experience with an applicant tracking system and/or HRIS preferred.
\n
• Government-contracting experience preferred.
\n
• UKG experience is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
