Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, MI is seeking a REGISTRATION COORDINATOR to join our team!

This individual is accountable for all of the "front end" functions with the patient admission process. This includes pre-registration, insurance verification, benefit eligibility and patient registration.

HOURS: This position is Full Time; 0.8 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Varied Shifts. Rotating weekends and holidays.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of office standards and procedures normally acquired through a high school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• Experience in a business office or healthcare setting required.
• Medical Terminology knowledge beneficial.
• Computer skills and office equipment beneficial.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of professionalism.
