The role
- Own tax engagements for individuals, small businesses, partnerships, S corps, and nonprofits
- Review and sign off on complex returns and planning work
- Lead IRS representation and year-round tax planning
- Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals
- Be the trusted advisor for key clients
- Improve our processes and tools as we scale
What we're looking for
- Active CPA or EA license
- 8+ years in tax and small business accounting, ideally at a small or mid-size firm
- Experience reviewing returns and managing staff
- Comfort with modern tax software and automation
- A builder's mindset: you like ownership and having a say in how things run
