The ideal candidate should have strong phlebotomy skills, experience handling and processing specimens correctly, and the ability to provide excellent patient care to a diverse patient population.Spanish-speaking candidates are required for this position.ResponsibilitiesPerform venipuncture and blood draws accurately and efficientlyProperly label, handle, and prepare laboratory specimens and vialsEnsure all specimens are processed and documented correctlyMaintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environmentAssist with patient intake and basic clinical support when neededWork collaboratively with providers, medical assistants, and front desk staffAccurately document patient information within the EMR systemRequirementsPrevious phlebotomy experience requiredStrong experience with blood draws and specimen collectionKnowledge of laboratory vials, specimen handling, and processing proceduresSpanish-speaking requiredExperience with eClinicalWorks (ECW) is strongly preferredExcellent communication and patient interaction skillsReliable, punctual, and able to work early morning hours consistentlyMedstaff Group works with healthcare organizations throughout Long Island and is seeking dedicated healthcare professionals who are passionate about patient care and looking for long-term growth opportunities.To apply, please submit your resume or contact Medstaff Group directly for additional information.
