Hardware Test Engineer - Entry Level

Test EngineerTest Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing the tests that ensure the quality and the functionality of a product. They are involved in all phases of the testing program, from designing the test parameters to troubleshooting errors, and writing up final test procedures.EDUCATION: 4 years of high school completion, or equivalent Bachelor's degree in engineering EMET or the equivalent experience preferredEXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year of experience in assembly, testing, debugging, test equipment programming.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Proactive and able to work well independently as well as in a team environmentWork well with cross functional teamsStrong ownership and organization skillsAbility to work confidently in a rapidly changing, fast-paced and results-oriented corporate environment where a high degree of flexibility is required.Hardware Tool: Scopes (digital/analog), Multimeter (DMM), Logic analyzer, PCOperating systems: DOS, Windows, Microsoft Office, and Windows NTBilingual (English & Chinese) preferredRESPONSIBILITIES:Interact with customer to provide Design for Testability analysis during product design phase.Develop test strategies and processes for new product releaseDevelop, verify, and integrate the hardware, software, and firmware to test the final products.Design and develop test fixtures and equipment.Find root causes and develop solutions for failures.Develop and update documents and TPI to establish testing requirements and troubleshooting process.Document technical issues and solutionsInstall new test diagnostic when it releasesMonitoring the all-test fixtures inside production, troubleshoot when it reports as malfunctionCreation and development of SOPs for new test equipmentSchedule maintained for each test equipmentUpdate test diagnostic when new FW release via SECN
