Sr. Structural Engineer

Farnsworth Group is seeking a Sr. Structural Engineer in one of the following posting locations: Chicago, Lisle, Normal, Peoria, Springfield, IL or St. Louis, MO . What You'll Do Perform structural analysis and design for building structures and related systems. Perform structural analysis and design for Energy and Industrial structures and related systems. Develop construction documents and provide construction administration services. Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordination with the project team. What You'll Need Bachelor's (required) or Master's degree (preferred) in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering, with emphasis in structures 8 -15 years of structural engineering experience Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) licensure preferred Experience with design and construction administration of building structures, preferably both new construction and renovation of existing structures Experience designing with common construction materials: steel, concrete, masonry or wood Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Strong team player in a multi-disciplinary environment that can manage and contribute to several projects simultaneously Salary Range $105,000 - $125,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, as well as internal and external equity) Benefits 401(k) with 100% Company Match up to 5% Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance Plans Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts Short & Long-Term Disability Maternity and Paternity Leave Professional Development and Training Mentoring Program Paid Time Off Wellness/Fitness Reimbursements Pet Insurance Plan Hybrid Work Program EEO Statement Farnsworth Group, Inc. is proud to be a M/F Disabled and Veteran EEO/AA employer.
