Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cath Lab Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 Years Required License: Active Nursing License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Required Must-Have: Knowledgeable of Orbital atherectomy, Rotational atherectomy, IABP, IMPELLA, OTC, ECMO, flow wire, manifold, Sheath pulling, and other Cath Lab adjuncts. Must be prepared to monitor cases if proficient with relevant systems. Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cath Lab. The schedule is 4 days per week, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling and prepared for occasional late shifts. The position includes STEMI call, approximately one week every 12-16 weeks, which entails 24 hours of call on both Saturday and Sunday. Call shifts may include some half nights and require prompt arrival within 30 minutes of STEMI activation. Holidays may also require on-call coverage as needed. Previous charge experience is preferred, along with the ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:1. The role requires experience in monitoring various cardiac procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, and diagnostic catheterizations. Additional skills such as hemodynamic monitoring and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias are essential. The candidate will assist in the preparation and management of equipment and supplies in the unit. Knowledge of ECMO and other interventional cardiac procedures is advantageous. Education verification through a third party is required. A background check will be conducted, and no open cases will be accepted. EPIC system experience is required for this role. The candidate must pass a required EKG exam during compliance prior to starting. This position is open to first-time travelers. All applicants must comply with specific vaccination requirements.
