We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bookkeeper / AP & AR Specialist for a full-time position in Farmers Branch, Texas . The ideal candidate must be proficient in QuickBooks Desktop and have strong experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and bank reconciliations .

This position is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing vendor and customer transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

Main responsibilities

Accounts Payable — AP
Accounts Payable means managing the company’s bills and vendor payments. Responsibilities include:

Processing vendor invoices and bills
Entering bills accurately into QuickBooks Desktop
Matching invoices with purchase orders, receipts, or supporting documents
Coding expenses to the correct accounts
Preparing vendor payments
Maintaining vendor records
Reviewing open bills and AP aging reports
Resolving invoice or payment discrepancies with vendors

Accounts Receivable — AR
Accounts Receivable means managing customer invoices, payments, and balances owed to the company. Responsibilities include:

Creating and sending customer invoices
Recording customer payments in QuickBooks Desktop
Posting deposits and applying payments to the correct invoices
Monitoring unpaid customer balances
Reviewing AR aging reports
Following up on past-due accounts when needed
Reconciling customer accounts and resolving payment discrepancies

Bank reconciliation
Responsibilities include:

Reconciling bank accounts in QuickBooks Desktop
Reconciling credit card accounts when applicable
Comparing bank statements with QuickBooks records
Identifying missing, duplicate, or incorrect transactions
Researching and correcting discrepancies
Ensuring all deposits, payments, checks, and transfers are recorded properly
Keeping books accurate and up to date
