Backend Senior Java Developer

Job Title

Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs software development (coding) and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Requires a bachelor's degree in an area of specialty and 5+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. Knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required.

Required Technologies: Spring Framework, Java 1.8+, Spring Boot, Reactive Microservices, Kafka, SQL & NoSQL Database technologies in Cloud Environment.

Must Haves:

• 5 years of experience writing unit tests to have 100% coverage, building automated test scripts (ATDD), performance testing and releasing them in production
• 3 years experience in working with Jenkins jobs, resolving errors and enhancing the CI/CD process, GitHub, artifactory or nexus, maven etc

Nice to Have:

• Bring solid 3+ years experience in emerging and traditional technologies
• Work with product owners to understand desired application capabilities and testing scenarios

Required Skills: Backend - Java, Springboot, Secure coding and testing frameworks

Notes: Since this is a hybrid role, candidate should be local to the work location and willing to go onsite thrice a week. Monday and Friday WFH.
