Job Summary
Medical Surgical Nurse (MS) This position is located on an acute care surgical department with some medical patient overlap due to bed availability. The role involves providing compassionate and skilled patient care across a variety of medical-surgical cases, supporting patient recovery and comfort in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Illinois Registered Nurse license, current CPR/BLS Card, ACLS, with a minimum of 0 years of experience required.
• Schedule: Evenings shift, 12-hour shift hours, requiring a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include delivering high-quality nursing care, monitoring patient status, and collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in surgical and medical units, familiarity with patient care techs, and comfort working with diverse patient populations.
• Additional Information: The position involves working generally every other weekend, with flexibility on holiday requests, and covers multiple specialized units including cardiac, neonatology, and emergency care. Submission of necessary licenses and certifications is required for application.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
