Location: Avera Behavioral Health Center – Sioux Falls Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Rotating days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: $22.75 - $31.50 (actual pay rate dependent upon experience) Position Highlights December New Grads are Welcome to Apply Why is Behavioral Health Important? The Avera Behavioral Health Adolescent & Child Units are designed to be a structured and age‑appropriate therapeutic environment for adolescents and children to learn to understand problems, use healthy coping skills and set and complete goals. What You Will Do Collect data and conduct a focused nursing assessment of the health status of a patient. Participate with other health care providers in the development and modification of the patient‑centered health care plan. Implement nursing interventions within a patient‑centered health care plan. Assist in the evaluation of responses to interventions. Provide for the maintenance of safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly. Advocate for the best interest of the patient. Communicate and collaborate with patients and members of the health care team. Assist with health counseling and teaching. Delegate and assign nursing interventions to implement the plan of care.
