Occupational Therapist - RehabilitationThis is a 13-week contract position.Days - 8 hour shifts.The Occupational Therapist effectively screens and evaluates patients with cognitive and/or activities of daily living (ADL) physical functioning disorders. The therapist develops appropriate plans of care that adhere to regulatory and clinical practice standards. Utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices, the therapist provides rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to eligible patients. This role also involves administering various therapeutic procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan.Assess and evaluate patients' cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.Provide various rehabilitative treatments, including ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, therapeutic exercises, and modalities.Adjust treatment plans according to patient progress and document findings in the electronic documentation system.Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members regarding treatment progress and barriers.Document all regulatory and clinically required information, maintaining patient records according to company policy.Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and facility trainings.Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants and rehabilitation aides.Adhere to professional ethics and conduct standards as mandated by NBCOT and state regulations.1+ years of Occupational Therapy experience required.Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation settings required.Active Occupational Therapy license required at the time of submission.New graduates considered with Level II fieldwork experience.At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
