Hotel Maintenance Technician

No two days are the same! Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing routine and preventative maintenance throughout the hotel

• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, guest rooms, and common areas

• Handling carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical repairs

• Responding promptly to guest and staff maintenance requests

• Repairing furniture, walls, tile, fixtures, lighting, and appliances

• Maintaining heating and air conditioning systems (filters, controls, inspections)

• Completing daily checklists and walkthroughs with management

• Keeping tools, workspaces, and logs organized and up to date

• Being on-call for emergency situations (with guaranteed minimum pay if called in)

• Hands-on experience in hotel or building maintenance preferred

• Skills in carpentry, plumbing, minor electrical, and mechanical repairs

• HVAC, refrigeration, or heating system experience a plus

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and detail

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors as needed

• Professional, reliable, and able to interact positively with guests and staff

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Follow all safety, fire, and emergency procedures

• Support brand and franchise maintenance programs

• Help keep the property safe, clean, and guest-ready at all times
