As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment for shoppers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a busy retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and sharing information with site leadership when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor visitor, employee, and/or vendor activity and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns observed during patrols.
• Support loss prevention and access control practices by observing high-traffic areas, assisting with crowd management, and following post orders for opening, closing, and incident response.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
