Key Responsibilities of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
• Ensure all aspects of patient care comply with established safety policies and procedures
• Monitor patients' post-operative conditions, administer appropriate medications, and provide bedside teaching
• Assist in the preparation and recovery of patients undergoing surgical and other invasive procedures

Requirements of the RN - PACU - Post Anesthetic Care

• Minimum 1-year current PACU experience
• BLS & ACLS certifications
