Learning System Analyst

Our client, a leader in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Data Analyst III to join their team. As a Data Analyst III, you will be part of the Learning Systems team supporting global learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem‑solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Data Analyst III Location: Spring, Texas Pay Range: $35 - $40/hr. on W2 Note: Must be able to go onsite for an interview. What's the Job? Design, maintain, and support job role and competency architecture within the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS). Analyze LMS data and reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement, delivering actionable insights. Partner with global Learning teams, HR, and business stakeholders to define and refine role structures and learning pathways. Support data quality, role structure integrity, and continuous improvement of LMS configurations and processes. Apply industry context—particularly oil and gas operations—to support job roles and learning design. What's Needed? Hands‑on experience working within an enterprise Learning Management System (LMS). 5+ years of experience in learning systems, job architecture, competency frameworks, or related roles. Strong data analysis skills, including intermediate Excel proficiency (pivot tables, formulas, charts). General understanding of the oil and gas industry, including upstream, midstream, and downstream operations. Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
