- Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the flow of the dining room — from greeting guests to managing service and keeping everything running smoothly.
- Create Memorable Guest Experiences: Bring Gustav’s traditions to life, making every guest feel welcome and ensuring they leave excited to return.
- Develop & Inspire the Team: Coach, mentor, and support front-of-house staff while fostering a culture of pride, teamwork, and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with Kitchen & Bar: Keep communication strong to ensure authentic, high-quality German cuisine and seamless service.
- Maintain Tradition with Quality: Uphold Gustav’s signature recipes and service style while embracing opportunities to innovate.
- Support the General Manager: Assist with scheduling, training, inventory, and day-to-day operations to ensure the restaurant runs efficiently.
What We’re Looking For
- Experienced Leader: 3–5+ years in restaurant management, ideally in a scratch kitchen or full-service environment.
- Hospitality-Driven: Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences and sharing Gustav’s traditions.
- Team-Oriented & Positive: Motivates by example, uplifts staff, and keeps energy high in busy moments.
- Organized & Calm Under Pressure: Handles multiple priorities while maintaining high standards.
- Reliable & Flexible: Full-time, 50-hour work weeks, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Passionate About German Cuisine & Beer: Appreciates tradition while embracing opportunities for innovation.
