Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee and tea beverages (e.g., espresso, lattes, cappuccinos) in accordance with company recipes and quality standards.
• Prepare Sandwiches and other food items.
• Stock and organize retail items.
• Greet customers, take orders, and handle cash or card transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and seating area.
• Restock supplies (e.g., coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups) as needed.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer needs and complaints in a professional manner.
• Educate customers on the menu, making recommendations based on their preferences.
• Work as part of a team to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Open and/or close the café according to company procedures, if assigned.
• Prep and Cook Food Items

Qualifications:

• Prior barista or food service experience preferred, but not required (training provided).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, positive attitude with a customer-first mindset.
• Basic math skills and familiarity with POS systems.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to bend, reach, and carry items during shift.
