Copywriter

Copywriter Position

Our client, a Retail Cosmetics company, is looking for a Copywriter for their Bolingbrook, IL location.

Responsibilities:

• Applies the client Beauty brand identity and voice to every assignment, consistently following brand standards to create a seamless guest experience across channels.
• Contributes to editorial brainstorms and ad hoc requests by offering recommendations that strengthen copy cohesion and alignment.
• Manages multiple workstreams, prioritizes deliverables, and meets deadlines with polished copy.
• Demonstrates efficiency, organization, and strong attention to detail, with the ability to turn around copy quickly when needed. Partners with design teams to ensure consistency across digital touchpoints.
• Stays informed on current trends, culture, design systems, and editorial influences.
• Adapts to changing business needs that support the overall brand. Proactively seeks information and answers while knowing when to ask for guidance.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years copywriting experience
• Comfortable working with GenAI
• Experience in agency, beauty, retail copywriting or editorial a plus
• A passion for client Beauty, its products, and its guests
• A great eye for detail, demonstrating creative and innovative problem solving
• Possess strong written and verbal communication skills; thinks strategically, critically and creatively
