Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. Will pay based on skills and experience
Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer as necessary.
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. .
- Execute plastering tasks to ensure smooth surfaces before painting.
- Conduct minor drywall/mud work when required for surface preparation or repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in residential or commercial painting required
- Experience in reading blueprints and understanding construction plans is a plus.
- Knowledge of different painting processes and techniques is a must
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including lifting materials and standing for extended periods.
