Essential Job FunctionsProvide strategic and day-to-day leadership across the team and key cross-functional partners, ensuring alignment of the Harvard Bioscience brand positioning, segmentation, messaging, customer services and business objectives across the organization. This leader will be responsible for lifecycle planning, launch execution, organizational capability, building and developing high-impact marketing strategies grounded deeply within the life science tool space.Strategic LeadershipLead and development and execution of the Harvard Bioscience vision and commercial strategy in partnership with other key cross functional leaders.Drive launch readiness, market shaping, existing product performance, lifecycle planning and customer engagement strategies across the Harvard Bioscience organization.Oversee integrated go-to-market planning and applications education, engagement and field readiness initiatives.Build and maintain a high-performing commercial culture focused on purpose-driven executional excellence and sustainable business performance.Marketing Capabilities and PerformanceLead the evolution of Harvard Bioscience marketing capabilities, processes and organizational efficiencies to support launch excellence and long-term growth.Drive integrated customer engagement strategies tailored to life science tools industry.Leverage data, analytics, and customer insights to optimize marketing performance and business outcomes. Ensure alignment and execution across extended brands and cross-functional stakeholders.Establish best practices for brand planning, operational excellence and launch preparedness.skills and experienceStrong command of strategic marketing, launch planning, customer engagement strategy and execution and analysis. Strong communication, relationship management and cross-functional leadership skillsStrong executive presence and presentation skills.Ability to build application-based marketing literature and presentationsEducation and Experience and/or equivalentBachelor's degree in life sciences, business, marketing or related field. MBA or advanced scientific degree. Preferred.12+ years of progressive experience in life science tools, biopharmaceutical, commercial experience sales, marketing, market access or launch commercialization.10 years of specialty brand marketing experience, digital marketing,5 years of leadership experience developing high-performing teams.travel10% - 25%
