Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery

Employment Type: Full time Shift: Rotating Position: Clinical Nurse – Labor and Delivery Responsibilities Provide patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum. Monitor fetal heart tones, administer medications, and coach patients through labor. Anticipate and respond to complications using critical thinking and clinical protocols. Assist and circulate in the operating room for cesarean sections and other OB/GYN procedures. Document care and patient progress using EPIC. Collaborate with 24-hour Patient Safety Nurses, NICU teams, and physicians during high-risk deliveries and obstetric emergencies. Qualifications 1–2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience. Graduate of an accredited nursing program; ASN required, BSN or MSN preferred. Current Maryland RN license or compact state equivalent. BLS certification (American Heart Association); additional life support certifications as required by unit. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
