Social Media Specialist w/Substack Experience
Beyond the Rx
Beyond the Rx is looking for a creative, smart, digitally savvy content manager to help grow our presence on Substack, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. This is a not a traditional social media role. The ideal candidate lives and breathes Substack. You understand Notes, recommendations, collaborations, subscriber growth, and the ever-changing ecosystem of the platform. You know what performs, what doesn't, and how to build community without feeling spammy. Responsibilities include: Managing and growing our Substack presence, with a particular focus on Notes Helping brainstorm and develop content ideas Scripting short-form video content Assisting with lighting and filming Editing video (including sound) Posting and scheduling content across platforms Tracking engagement and identifying opportunities for growth The right person is: Obsessed with Substack A strong storyteller and editor Comfortable behind a camera and behind a computer Equal parts creative and strategic Self-directed, organized, and full of ideas Please do not apply if you are unfamiliar with Substack. We are specifically looking for someone who understands the platform deeply and can help us grow there.
