Operations Analyst III

One Federal Solution (OFS) is seeking an Operations Analyst III to support the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), Special Projects Office (SPO), in Arlington, VA. The Operations Analyst III will provide senior-level analytical, operational, and programmatic support for high-visibility Strategic Explorations and Special Programs initiatives supporting advanced research and development (R&D) efforts within a fast-paced DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational and analytical support activities for DARPA SPO leadership and Program Managers
• Develop analytical products and operational reports to support leadership decision-making, policy formulation, program execution, and resource allocation
• Support program plans, quarterly reviews, Program Approval Documents (PADs), Program Completion Reports (PCRs), Security Classification Guides (SCGs), trip reports, and related technical/programmatic documentation
• Analyze operational processes, acquisition life cycles, and program execution activities to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Track technical, operational, and financial milestones across multiple initiatives and programs
• Coordinate meetings, stakeholder engagements, and operational activities across classified and unclassified environments
• Support short-notice tasking, rapidly changing priorities, and high-visibility deliverables
• Assist with preparation of briefing materials, reports, presentations, and decision-support documentation for leadership reviews

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Operations Research, or a related field required
• Minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional experience
• Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance required
• Experience supporting operations analysis, program analysis, operational planning, or analytical support activities within a DoD or Federal Government environment
• Experience supporting leadership decision-making, milestone tracking, reporting, and operational coordination
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and support high-tempo operational environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
• Ability to work within classified and unclassified environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous DARPA, DoD HQ, or SETA support experience
• Experience supporting research and development (R&D) programs
• Experience supporting technical reviews, acquisition activities, or strategic planning initiatives
• Familiarity with Government collaboration tools, repositories, and tracking systems
