Flash Fiber Billing and Business Development Representative Thursday, September 3, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Position Summary FlashFiber is seeking a Fiber Billing & Business Development Representative to support both our day-to-day customer operations and continued business growth. This is a unique dual-role position, with approximately 50% of the role focused on billing and customer account management and 50% focused on business development and sales support . The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working with numbers as well as building relationships with customers and local businesses. Key Responsibilities Billing & Customer Accounts – 50% Process and maintain accurate customer billing and account information. Review accounts, resolve billing discrepancies, and process adjustments, credits, service changes, and equipment charges. Support monthly billing, account reconciliation, collections, and reporting activities. Assist with late-payment notifications and established account collection procedures. Assist with the transition of FlashFiber billing from GLDS/Broadhub to NISC. Respond to customer billing and service questions and help resolve account concerns. Coordinate with Customer Service, Accounting, and other departments to ensure accurate customer accounts and a positive customer experience. Business Development & Sales – 50% Contact prospective customers and follow up on business sales leads. Build relationships with local businesses and prospective FlashFiber customers. Support outbound sales campaigns, customer retention efforts, and opportunities for additional services. Maintain prospect and sales activity within CRM software and assist with tracking opportunities through the sales pipeline. Assist the Marketing & Sales Manager with customer meetings, presentations, proposals, and follow-up. Represent FlashFiber at community events, business functions, trade shows, and networking opportunities. Support customer onboarding, new service launches, promotions, and other growth initiatives. Qualifications Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered. Experience in customer service, billing/accounting, sales, or business development preferred. Telecommunications, broadband, ISP, utility, or technology experience is a plus. Experience with billing systems and CRM software preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication, organization, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
