Faculty Positions in Transplant and Cell Therapy/Hematological Malignancies
Our organization is actively seeking to fill faculty roles at various ranks (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) within the Division of Transplant and Cell Therapy (TCT) and Hematological Malignancies. We invite clinical investigators who are passionate about advancing academic and patient-centered research to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidates will primarily focus on clinical responsibilities while also engaging in the development, execution, and participation in clinical trials and collaborative research related to blood and marrow transplantation and cellular immunotherapy. Our institution fosters a collaborative and supportive atmosphere, particularly for recent fellows and junior faculty members.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and mentor residents, fellows, and mid-level providers during both outpatient and inpatient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative therapies for hematological malignancies, including novel agents, small molecule inhibitors, and various immune therapies (such as CAR-T, monoclonal antibodies, vaccines, and gene therapy).
- Participate in autologous and allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for both malignant and non-malignant conditions.
- Engage in clinical trials and collaborative research initiatives.
Specific areas of focus regarding hematological diseases and treatment modalities can be tailored to align with the candidate's interests.
Support and ResourcesThis role is backed by our Cancer Center Clinical Trials Unit, which includes dedicated clinic spaces, infusion centers, and an inpatient unit. Additionally, we have a newly established cGMP and TCT laboratory, a FACT-accredited program for pediatric autologous and allogeneic BMT, and a fully characterized tumor samples repository. Our state-of-the-art Children’s Hospital, which opened in 2021, is also located on the Medical School campus.
Qualifications- MD or equivalent degree.
- Completion of fellowships in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.
- Preferred: TCT fellowship or equivalent experience.
- Board eligible or certified in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology or Immunology.
We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package, with starting base compensation ranging from $200,000 to $500,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process.
