As a key player in the fastest-growing large consumer goods company in North America, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our facilities run smoothly and efficiently.As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of duties to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain buildings and plant utility equipment. You'll work with a variety of systems and tools, ensuring everything is in top working order.Key ResponsibilitiesRepair plant building components including doors, windows, drywall, and more.Perform mechanical tasks involving electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and plumbing systems.Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, steam boilers, air compressors, and other equipment.Use hand and power tools, electric meters, and soldering equipment.Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics.Use SAP CMMS for work orders and documentation.Perform preventive maintenance and report system deficiencies.Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean work areas.Operate forklifts and scissors lifts for maintenance tasks.Work with external contractors for building and system repairs.Be available for occasional weekend work and extended hours.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or General Education equivalent.Minimum 3 years of related work experience.Pass Client Technical Aptitude Assessment and background screening.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull force of 80 lbs.Capable of standing/walking for extended periods, often in extreme temperatures.PreferencesExperience with SAP CMMS.Familiarity with HVAC systems and plant utility equipment.The Client will not offer sponsorship for employment status for this position.
