LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Round Rock, TX (78664) Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday 8:00am - 5:00pm; Saturday & Sunday 9:00am - 5:00pm (additional hours may be requested as needed) Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform Urinalysis dips and pregnancy kit tests Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Will provide coverage to client and PSC settings Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 2 or more years' phlebotomy experience working in a clinical / hospital environment 1 or more years' experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric) Current or prior LabCorp experience Additional Job Standards: In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Able to pass a standardized color blindness test Flexibility to work overtime as needed Able to work in a fast paced / high volume work environment Be 21 years of age or older Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record Will provide coverage to client / PSC environments Exceptional customer service Strong communication skills; both written and verbal Ability to work independently or in a team environment Comfortable working under minimal supervision This role will work in our client's office and patient service settings to provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. *QUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM * Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics ** $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS ** (active or previous LabCorp employees rehired within 1 year are not eligible) Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
