PRN Phlebotomist — Clinic Coverage

We are seeking two experienced PRN Phlebotomists to provide temporary clinic coverage on select dates. One team member will support opening coverage and one will support closing coverage. This opportunity is ideal for dependable professionals who are confident working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic and can provide a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

·         Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and efficiently.

·         Verify patient information, label specimens, and prepare samples for processing.

·         Follow clinic procedures, infection-control standards, and safety requirements.

·         Maintain organized work areas and required supplies.

·         Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and clinic staff.

·         Support opening or closing duties based on the assigned shift.

Qualifications

·         Minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.

·         Strong venipuncture skills and attention to detail.

·         Ability to work independently and remain dependable for scheduled coverage.

·         Professional communication and patient-service skills.

·         Ability to comply with all clinic policies and safety procedures.

Schedule and Coverage

Two phlebotomists are needed for each coverage date: one for the opening shift and one for the closing shift. Coverage times have some flexibility based on clinic needs and candidate availability. Overtime is not available.

Coverage dates: October 30; November 2, 5, 6, 23, and 25; and December 29 and 31.
