DSP - In-Home Support

Position: DSP - Community Living Specialist (In-Home Support)


The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with Developmental Disabilities who live in their own home or work in their individual communities.
The DSP assists each individual to live and work independently as part of their program, while also supporting them to make progress towards their unique individual goals. Examples of work tasks include supporting individuals with Developmental Disabilities with medical appointments, grocery shopping, meal prepping, budgeting, and overall upkeep of their home.


Another area of focus for this position is to support the individuals with developmental disabilities in developing and maintaining friendships and community connections. Assistance with personal care may be required depending on the needs of the individual supported. DSPs, CNA's, and HHA's are encouraged to apply.


Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities is essential.


Utilizing personal vehicle to access the community with the individual is required (Mileage reimbursed) Performs other duties as assigned.


REQUIREMENTS

Positions that requires driving, as per our carrier, drivers must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record.

Per Diem, Full-Time, Part-Time Positions - Hourly Rate: $20.30
